Ajinder Kaur shares the journey of her friendship with fellow teacher Norulain Hassan, that empowered them to take on the womenpreneur route. This is surely giving us all friendship goals, more so because the pandemic didn't stop them! 

"We first met 20 years ago as fresh young teachers in a private school. We always wanted to start a business. But times were tough; we went through rough patches in our personal lives and marriages; worked day and night to support ourselves until one day last year when we sat down over coffee and said to each other, 'This is it. Let's make our dream a reality. We start a business and be an example to other single moms and ladies!'

We started planning for the business that very day. This was in June 2019. We went through many struggles to find the right location, doing our research till the wee hours of the morning, going to work with panda eyes, and finally getting the salon done up from scratch to training the staff. And just when we were ready to open, the MCO happened. Some of our closest friends advised us to give up the thought of ever opening it. But, we weren't ones who gave up easily.

Fast forward, we finally had our grand opening on 8.8.2020. We are now ready to serve everyone who wants to have beautiful hands and feet. Our journey has just begun. There is still a long way ahead. We work our day jobs and juggle the new business together. It's tough work but hey, in life, if there is no pain, no gain.
