The dish is considered a national favourite in Malaysia. A Penang style of delicacy that is made from flat rice noodle or kway teow, stir-fried with light and dark soy sauce, chilli, prawns, bean sprouts, chopped Chinese chives, egg, prawns, chicken slice and fishcake.

How? In a lighting speed reaction, (it's food we
are talking about here so no time to waste) I checked out the Mammam
Deliveries Facebook page and website Mammam.com.my. However,
the area I was at wasn't listed in the drop down menu. I was also already
following the Mammam.com.my Instagram now. So I left a
comment on a post, telling them how I wish they would deliver to me. And
received a very prompt reply informing they would! So don't worry if you don't see you area listed, just give them a call!

All I needed to do was call
them up at 03-77727781 and place an order! At this point, I felt a little greedy and wanted to order 2 different dishes, after reading comments on Facebook and seeing the yummylicious pictures online. But on second thought, told myself let's go one at a time.

The staff who attended my call was warm, friendly
and helpful. In about an hour, I got a call from a very polite delivery boy
(Navin Kumar) to meet him at the lobby. He had the needed change to give me
also, to be honest I was asking myself if he would, while coming down the lift. Kudos to the team for being well prepared. Chatted with him a little before he handed over my precious food package. (I'm sure I will be seeing you soon Navin Kumar). And there it was in my hands, the
much talked about Nasi
Lemak goreng!

Confession: I sat there admiring the meal box for a while and took loads pictures in excitement for Instagram and Facebook, because sharing is caring!

I held the pack and it was warm! Surely nothing beats fresh food delivered when you're hungry. The packaging was of
course brilliant! Mammam deliveries, not only the food but your packaging is
Tahap Dewa! I super love it! You will definitely not have to worry about the kuah/sambal (gravy) mixing with rice, they stay well in the compartments and are handled with so much care, you
get your meal exactly the way they place it into the meal box. It feels good to know the process was done clean, neat and professionally.

What's even
The taste? It was with no doubt Tahap Dewa! My nasi lemak goreng, came with a fried egg, fried anchovies & nuts, cucumber & tomatoes and super fantabulous sambal! The Nasi Lemak goreng, to my surprise also had squid besides anchovies. My first spoon, made me push work aside and enjoy the packed goodness. And here's when I thanked me for not ordering two different dishes from Mammam Deliveries at one go, because the portion was really really huge for a small eater like me. For the very reasonable price of RM 12.90 and no delivery charges+free bottled water, the Nasi Lemak Goreng (Mammam Deliveries signature dish) is highly recommended!
