"When I wanted to learn, no one were willing to teach me, as they were concerned about their business losing customers. So I taught myself and then I told myself why not share my knowledge since I have perfected saree blouse stitching."

Revathy Kiraunchan remembers the days when she faced many disappointing saree blouse tailoring outcomes over the years since she moved to the UK from Sri Lanka, where all her visits to a tailor will end up with her walking home frustrated, as the blouse never came close to perfect. Although she was enjoying most part of her move however, the pain of not having a proper saree blouse to wear kept nagging her.
Driven by the will to do it herself, because there's no better way do slay it, she decided to learn and stitch saree blouses and indian outfits for her daughters. She is today the well known saree blouse designer, who mesmerises her customer, students and followers through her creative and innovate creations at Revathy Tailoring on IG!

"Since I was having a hard time to find a good tailor who can provide proper fitting blouse and on time delivery, I thought to start doing it myself and also stitch for my daughters."
However, creative knowledge sharing seemed to be hard to do for many, but Revathy never saw it as a stumbling block. Instead, she mustered the courage to learn saree blouse tailoring by watching Youtube videos, failing, re-trying and repeating the process till she found the right steps to a perfect fit saree blouse!

The bespoke saree blouse designer and tailoring instructor, added that being turned down when she wanted to learn the craft was what drove her passion to learn the craft and then teach others even more.
While she started personal one on one classes at home for some time, her official international masterclass to reach saree blouse tailoring enthusiast was conducted in Switzerland in August 2019 and there was no stopping since.
When asked what is her advice to budding online entrepreneurs, Revathy said, "Always remember to keep your promise to deliver, don't stop no matter others say and put in the work hard. As for me, each and every blouse that I do, I treat it as my first blouse. And that kept me on top of my toes to give the best quality for all my customers who believe in my work."

| Proudest mummy in the world ♥️ Here is my proud daughter Sanjana wearing her first blouse😍😍😍 I took my both girls to Switzerland masterclass while they were in the school holidays. They were sitting at the back of the class and started to write down the notes while I was teaching my students. By the time I finished the 3 days class Sanjana had already practiced cutting the blouse on the paper. When we came back to London Sanjana started to do a blouse for herself and Yathushana started a blouse for me and finally today they have finished their first blouse with the PERFECT FITTINGS. Couldn’t be more happier as a mum and a designer ♥️♥️♥️ |
