24-Hour Special KTM Service For THAIPUSAM 2020

Devotees and the multiracial community who are looking forward to Thaipusam at Batu Caves will not have to worry about the traffic or looking for parking as KTMB is offering 24 hours train services from 7 February, 5.45am to 10 February, 9.36pm.


This involves a total of 24 KTM stations including Batu Caves, Taman Wahyu, Kampung Batu, Batu Kentonmen, Sentul, Putra, Bank Negara, Kuala Lumpur, KL Sentral, Seremban, Nilai, Kajang, Bandar Tasik Selatan, Shah Alam, Klang and Port Klang.

The extended service if being offered to accommodate some 60,000 passengers who are expected to use the Komuter service for the religious event.
Passenger will also not have to worry about any inconvenience, as KTMB is well prepared with  additional platforms, as well as dedicated shuttle services to ferry it's passengers from the designated train stations to Batu Caves.
KTMB informed that there will be a total of 310 additional train services this year, including a dedicated shuttle service between Batu Caves and Sentul with a 30-minute frequency.
There will also be a special bus service for passengers travelling between Sentul KTM Station and KL Sentral, with a RM1 fare for adults, while concession ticket holders ride for free.
Do take note that cashless payment via Touch n Go and Komuter Link cards are applicable during this period to reduce passengers queuing up at the counter to purchase tickets, while cash payments will only be accepted for concession fares offering a 50% off - for children up to age six, senior citizens and the disabled.
