I'm sure you've read about how bad some of those among us vandalised the newly opened Titiwangsa Lake Gardens, and it is sad to know that itchy hands are everywhere. The Persatuan Pustakawan Malaysia recently posted images to show that a book kiosk in Putrajaya was vandalised by irresponsible members of the public.

According to the post on it Facebook page, the kiosk was damaged not even a month after it was installed for the benefit of readers in the area. it was highlighted that the door had come off and books chucked messily. 

Is this some kind of disorder - a need to see something destroyed? Let's hope the kiosk will meet readers with a smile for a long time and thank you to the kind souls for this gesture that we sure hope to see more nationwide! I will personally love to contribute towards the effort and donate some books too!
