Driven purely by passion and vision for fashion, the Malaysian Indian Fashion Festival 2016 (MIFF 2016) is set to place Malaysia on the global fashion map! The one of a kind fashion event, will not be featuring the usual designers and styles, instead the event is going to push the limits and stretch the boundaries of what is considered as fashion. MIFF 2016 is also aiming to challenge the assumptions of what a fashion event should be about. 

The MALAYSIA INDIAN FASHION FESTIVAL 2016 - MIFF 2016 is a brainchild of a group of influential Malaysian people including celebrities, supermodels, well-known designers and event producers who share one thing in common - a desire to create a platform for the many talented Malaysians to showcase their talent and to highlight the country's unique fashion palette. 

MIFF 2016 is open to any designer who has injected an element of Indian design, motifs and themes into their design. The fashion festival is sure going to remind us that the cultures in Malaysia are not separate form one another! Be prepared to see how the mix marriage of cultures influence each other to create an amazing mash-up of styles and designs. MIFF 2016 is surely going to be a ramp of what makes us unique as a country, to be shared with the world. 

MIFF 2016 will be seeing participation from international designers including India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Dubai. Participating fashion designers will not only be able to sell their brand and access new markets overseas but also position themselves as an innovator and leader in Malaysia's new fashion movement. The Fashion Festival also welcomes fashion opinion leaders from around the world.

We want to show a fusion of cultures; a fusion of styles; a fusion of high fashion and everyday fashion; and also a fusion of the modern and the traditional.
